Vacancy full description:

  • We are looking for an apprentice to join the company to maintain stock levels, goods inwards and outbound and to distribute internally our wide range of electronic components for primarily the defence industry.
  • You will be involved in the upkeep of products in the central warehouse/store offices and will be responsible for correct
  • distribution of electronic assembly products for sub-assemblies and completion of products.
  • You will be applying differentiated solutions to a wide range of products and programmes, Ultra will help you to realise your goals and specialist capability areas.
  • You will be working with a qualified logistics and stores operative and will report to your line manager.
  • You will be trained by Uxbridge College and Ultra Electronics to become a skilled supply chain operative. Supply Chain Operatives work in a variety of warehouse environments. Work activities include taking deliveries, checking for damaged/missing items, storing goods, moving stock by various methods, picking/packing orders, loading goods for dispatch, maintaining stock records and documentation. You will have a commitment to continued professional development

Pay/working Hours: 200 per week, 37.5 hours, Mon-Fri

Expected duration of the apprenticeship: 12 months
