Wages explained
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

The Office Services Assistant role is an important role within our Legal Support Services team.  The overall objective is to ensure that delegated office duties are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Core tasks within this role include;

  • Archiving
  • Inbound and outbound post collection and distribution
  • Document copying/scanning
  • Cheque/cash reconciliation and banking
  • Health and Safety tasks
  • Stationary requests and replenishment
  • Office facilities and machine maintenance/call outs
  • General administration support
  • Reception cover when required

We are looking for a professional individual with good attention to detail, working as a team member as well as working independently where required.

Personal qualities

Main attributes are reliability, professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to undertake all types of work that is delegated to you to ensure that office duties are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.

Qualifications required

GCSE Maths and English A- C or equivalent.
