About the employer

Q Care Ltd is delighted to announce that it has won a contract to provide domiciliary care for Bracknell Forest Council for three years, starting in August 2017. A family run company, Q Care is an award-winning provider of domiciliary care services that works with councils and private individuals across South Wales and England. The new contract is good news for anyone looking for work in the care industry, in Bracknell and the wider area. Q Care won the Investors in People coveted Gold Award in 2016, a testament to the emphasis it places on looking after its staff so that they can focus on taking care of others. The company will be investing in the Bracknell area by setting up an office and offering a range of excellent job opportunities. It aims to recruit people who already work in care, but the team is also keen to attract those who feel the time is right for a career change. A comprehensive training programme will make the transition as smooth as possible. In particular the company’s apprenticeship scheme should appeal to school and college-leavers, aged 18 and over, who are looking for a rewarding career, in every sense of the word. Benefiting from a generous salary, a fully-insured and maintained car for business and personal use, company mobile phone, discount scheme for high street/on line shops and obviously an exciting opportunity to kick start your career in the care sector. Q Care is ideally suited to provide Bracknell Forest Council’s preferred model of service delivery, where support at home and in the community is delivered with full focus on the individual needs of the service user. Tony Dainty, Q Care’s Chief Executive Officer, explains the Q Care ethos, “At Q Care we pride ourselves on providing high quality, flexible homecare services that enable people to live at home comfortably. Whether the need is for short-term help after a hospital stay, round the clock care or ongoing assistance with day-to-day living, our service users select services that meet their precise needs. “Bracknell Forest Council places significant emphasis on helping service users to regain, preserve or achieve an optimum level of independence. At Q Care we will be working with service users to enable them to achieve their desired outcomes so that they can get the most from each day and, where possible, reduce their care requirements over time.” “These are excited times for Q Care Ltd as we start our journey in Bracknell Forest and we look forward to warmly welcoming new service users/individuals and staff into the Q Care family”
