Our client based in Small Heath is looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join their busy solicitor’s offices as a receptionist/admin office assistant.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Total hours per week: 37.50

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
We have the opportunity for a hard-working individual to join a growing and exciting team in Small Heath, Birmingham, as a Business Administration Apprentice, for a busy Solicitors.
The duties of this position include:
- Receiving/making calls
- Booking appointments
- Greeting clients
- Using software packages
- Covering the office when the senior management team is in the offices in Leicester
- Prioritising tasks
- Reacting to court deadlines
- Managing reception
- Taking ALL client calls

An apprenticeship isfull time employment with training which would allow your child to earn while they learn, whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

What Qualification will you be working towards?
- NVQ Level 2 In Business Administration
- Functional Skills in English Maths and IT
Duration: 12 – 18 months
Requirements and prospects
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Multi-lingual (Punjabi/Urdu)
- Willingness to learn
- No admin experience is required
- Easy going
Maths and English at A-C or Level 2.
