    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

An apprentice  Kitchen Designer is required to join a quality kitchen provider and work their way up to learn all aspects of kitchen design and then moving onto interior design. The Kitchen Designer will have passion and interest for exceptional design and service and be good at communicating with customers/clients.
You will be trained in CAD and will gain knowledge in Compusoft.
The Kitchen Designer will be based full time in a showroom.
Good computer and communication skills are required, as well as a smart appearance.

The Course.
This vacancy is strictly a paid apprenticeship and should only be applied for by people who understand that although you are in a working environment you MUST be willing to allocate one day a month to completing your allotted coursework. You will be personally tutored inside the office by an Assessor who will be your independent tutor and will help you pass your Business Administration Level 2 Government Recognised Qualification
