This is a very varied role for someone who will get involved with the coordination and administrative aspects of our main office. We are growing consistently so there will be the opportunity to develop the role. Typically you will be assisting the team with

  • Procurement – dealing with clients, suppliers, project teams, managers and colleagues to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services within budget constraints
  • Health & Safety documentation
  • Coordinating the support team who cover support calls and the allocation of engineers
  • Monitoring accounts activity to ensure day to day transactions are being accurately recorded
  • Working within deadlines
  • Dealing with email and telephone enquiries
  • Electronic and paper filing, following procuredure

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Good knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office - this is a very IT based role

Qualifications required

  • You must have at least four GCSEs at grade C and above or equivalent, including English and Maths. Good IT skills.

Future prospects

Prospect of progression to a higher level qualification and to progress within the business. Prospect of a permanent position for the right candidate on completion of the Apprenticeship.

Things to consider

NOTE: If your application is successful, you must attend an initial interview with Bournemouth & Poole College before your details are put forward to this employer. This will be arranged by an invitation from The College. This is not an interview for the job. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
