The IT Support Technician position is an exciting and varied role. This is a fantastic chance to learn from experts within the industry and to gain knowledge and experience within a number of different IT fields.

The job role will include:

Daily checks:

  • Check servers have been backed up properly
  • Check drive space on all servers
  • Check event viewer on servers
  • Log in to VM system and make sure all VMS are running
  • Check emails
  • Check tickets
  • Make sure the Air-Con is on and running in server room
  • Check servers and UPS physically for any alerts
  • Check digital displays are running
  • Checking mobile devices AM & PM


  • Check user profiles are loading properly
  • Check network shares are loading properly
  • Check printers are mapping properly
  • Check SIM and FMS are backing up to the server
  • Make sure Adobe Suite and Java is up to date on all computers
  • Make sure software is up to date on all computers
  • Make sure Ipads have latest updates
  • Check laptops and desktops have latest windows updates
  • Check laptops and mobile devices are charging properly
  • Check laptop trollies and mobile device cases are charging ok
  • Make sure there is up to date inventory of all equipment
  • Check projector lamps
  • Hoover and clean projectors
  • Make sure any user guides are up to date
  • Make sure spiceworks is picking up the AV on all devices
  • Delete all print jobs at the end of each month
