As a result of our continuing growth and ever increasing demand from our clients, we are looking to welcome a new member to the Solvo Vir family.

Solvo Vir is on the lookout for a Trainee Resource Consultant to play a key role in supporting the Business Development team in their activities. This person will be responsible for sourcing and selecting candidates, networking and advertising to potential candidates and identifying skills to match appropriately with vacancies.

The person who we’re looking for must be competent and confident in speaking with candidates/clients over the phone.

The Trainee Resource Consultant will be enrolled on a L2 Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship standard and will be given excellent training in order to carry out the following duties;

  • Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy job requirements.
  • Write, place and update adverts in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor responses/applications received and make sure that candidate’s applications are processed efficiently.
  • Qualify, shortlist and present suitable candidates against defined job vacancies.
  • Proactively and consistently strive to identify new candidate and client opportunities.
  • Provide first line support for all enquiries.
  • Accurately record candidate and client information on the recruitment database.
  • Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (e.g. interviews arranged, candidates sourced, leads generated etc.)

Requirements and prospects

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary.

Qualifications required

  • GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths & English- Minimum Grade C in both.

You will also be eligible for professional registration with the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP).
