To be successful in the role you will need to maintain our current website and social media presence, expand our social media presence and promote future trends within our market. As our apprentice your day to day duties could include but not exclusively:
•    Updating and maintaining existing website
•    Developing e-commerce site
•    Maintaining and updating our social media presence
•    Utilising other media platforms that you feel would be relevant to increase our media presence including
•    Google Plus
•    Instagram
•    Youtube
•    Pinterest
•    Creating emailers to new and existing customers such as mail chimp
•    Survey Monkey
•    Keeping up to date with new social media trends and making sure FD Ltd are using them as part of our brand and marketing strategy
We are a small company so some general office and business administration duties will be required including;
•    Processing and packing orders
•    Dealing with customer enquiries
•    To secure yourself this position at interview you should be creative, able to work to deadlines, be proactive and be able to work through a problem and find a solution
•    You should have attention to detail and be able to maintain the distinction between social media for work and for social life
•    Updating social media and Internet presence will be the main job role within FD Ltd. Though the role will extend to support and assisting in telephone communication, dealing with clients both face to face and via the phone typing documents via a PC, updating database, filing and post

Qualifications required

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above

Future prospects

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally may be opportunities to undertake further learning such as Higher apprenticeships.

Things to consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
