The successful applicant for the role of Apprentice Digital Marketeer will be primarily conducting digital marketing project work for Sonnet Marketing and our clients.

Reporting directly into our Marketing Director and Senior Mangement team, you will be trained how to engage with clients and prospects using email and social media, gain experience and the ability to input ideas into campaigns and projects.

Training on the use of CRM systems and automated marketing solutions, along with Microsoft office tools and applications will also be provided where their use is directly related to the work being undertaken on the campaigns.

This is a very exciting opportunity for a bright and driven individual to be the first apprentice in the Digital Marketing space within our business, which is an area we will be growing significantly over the course of 2017 and beyond.


Requirements and prospects

Qualifications required

Future prospects

As a growing outsourced marketing company, the apprentice has the ability to potentially be offered a full-time or part-time role as a Digital Marketing Specialist, with prospects to become a Digital Marketing Manager, all with increases in salary, package and responsibility within the business.

Things to consider

We are based in Littlehampton close to main public transport links along the south coast. CRB checks may be required. We expect every applicant to have done some research on the business prior to interview. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Training provider

The successful applicant will study the Level 3 Social Media and Digital Marketing Related Apprenticeship Framework. This includes Health and Safety, Roles and Responsibilities and a Technical Certificate. Candidates that do not hold GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths, English and ICT will be required to sit Functional Skills in these subjects.
