One of Norwich's most exciting new recruitment companies are on the hunt for an outgoing, personable individual to join their experienced recruitment team.

Specialising in the recruitment for the motor industry, the ideal person will be full of charisma and keen to start work in a recruitment capacity.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Liaising with client and customers.
  • Source candidates CV's from job boards (eg CV Library & Jobsite).
  • Communicate effectively with potential candidates and customers.
  • Complete initial telephone screening interview with candidates (form filling) matching their experiences to current vacancies.
  • Take incoming calls from candidates and clients (attention to detail imperative).
  • Contact candidates to arrange interviews.
  • Learning about the clients (companies they work with).
  • Actively researching the industry to make contact with new clients and offer our service.
  • Sending and following up client references.
  • General office duties (Copying, filing, etc).
  • Daily accurate database population.
  • Contribute to daily/weekly meetings.
  • Providing clear explanation of services provided.
  • Negotiating fees with clients.

Qualifications required

  • It is desired that the successful candidate has achieved GCSE, or equivalents, grades A-C in Math's and English.
  • However if the successful candidate does not have these achievements, we will provide functional skills training and support in these subjects. 

Future prospects

The Apprenticeship could lead to permanent employment as a Recruitment Consultant and further progression within the company if hard work is shown throughout the programme.

Things to consider

Due to the location of this vacancy it would be beneficial for the successful candidate to hold a Full UK Driving license and have use of their own car.

Other information

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
