The role will include:

  • Enquiry Management
  • Project Files Creation/Maintenance
  • Customer Interfacing
  • Understanding of customer drawings
  • Equipment Breakdowns
  • Costing and price calculations from pricelists
  • Compiling Quotations
  • Price Authorisation
  • Sales Order Processing / Confirmations / Allocation of Stocks
  • Purchase order review and order acceptance
  • Customer Equipment Specification Administration
  • Project reporting
  • MRP System Administration
  • Installation Fitting Packs
  • Final Accounts 
  • Invoicing
  • General Administrative Support
  • To take an active part in the introductions of new processes and working tools within the Business Unit
  • Involvement in continuous improvement ideas / lean six sigma processes
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by the Business Unit Manager

Qualifications required

  • 5 GCSE's C & above, including English Language, Maths or equivalent.
  • A solid knowledge of – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & Powerpoint.

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
