Responsibilities of the Business Apprentice.



  • Telephone Interviews and Reference Checks
  • Recruitment through Linkedin Company Recruiter account
  • Prepares recruitment reports for management


  • Induction, Starters and Leavers Process in conjunction with Line Management
  • Probation process to include internal policies
  • Annual reviews, new and amendments of internal policies
  • Employment documentation 
  • Ensuring all compulsory Personnel documentation is up to date & stored on the HR system 
  • Support Contract management and NDA’s with Suppliers and Customers
  • Production of company induction packs, processes and job descriptions

Requirements of the Business Apprentice

  • Our client is looking for someone who has;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • They are looking for a co-operative and supportive team player who is very pro-active and self-motivated.
  • Having exceptional planning and organisation skills is essential to meet deadlines and having the capacity to maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook is essential and you must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance (SC) with no restrictions. 

Personal qualities

  • An enthusiastic and professional attitude and commitment to learning new skills.

Qualifications required

  • Ideally 5 GCSE Grades (C and above) or equivalent, including Maths and English.

Future prospects

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programmes offer on-going development tracks.

Training provider

Start with a 12-14 month Business apprenticeship, which consists of 10 days of in-centre training in combination with work-based assessment, covering:
