You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting individuals with personal care and providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • You will support with meal preparation
  • Light domestic duties
  • Assist with moving and positioning individuals in accordance with their plan of care.
  • Interaction and communication with individuals and the ability to monitor the health of individuals affected by health conditions is key.
  • Participate in rotas, which may include day, evening, weekend and Bank Holiday working and sleeping-in duties at night.

Please Note:
Candidate must be able to travel to work on time due to the office being based in a rural location with limited public transport
Pay rate - £3.60 but will rise to up to £8 once completed the apprenticeship

Things to consider

Pay rate - £3.60ph - to rise to £8.00ph after a successful first 3 months. Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The key dates are to be used as a guide only. Should the right candidate be found, this vacancy may close early.
