We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and hardworking apprentice engineers to undertake steel erection and welding.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
Morgan Bros. (Metalwork Solutions) ltd, based in Chorley are now looking to recruit two enthusiastic, talented and hardworking apprentices for 2017 to achieve a skilled trade within the architectural metalwork industry.
The company specialises in the manufacture of bespoke Steel Stairways and many other types of Steel manufactured items together with Stainless Steel balustrades and Structural Glass panel Systems associated to the construction industry.
The company has developed over many years a highly skilled workforce capable of undertaking the manufacture and installation of major projects within the UK.
If you are a keen individual, enthusiastic and willing to learn and work hard for a future, we can provide the right candidates with a skilled trade within our field of work.
They will be working from CAD drawings to manufacture, supply and install various types of metalwork from Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminium.
Working away may also be a necessity as we undertake many contracts all over the UK.
A full UK Driving Licence would be desirable.
Requirements and prospects
- Ideally knowledge and understanding of AutoCad/Solidworks
- Hard working
- A good time keeper
- Prepared to attend college on weekly day release
Minimum GCSE grade C or above in maths and English (or equivalent) is essential and ideally a minimum 4 GCSEs in total with the other two subjects being no lower than grade D.
