Responsibilities of the Business Apprentice
•    Making calls and receiving calls
•    Data entry
•    Communicating effectively with all key stakeholders both internally and externally to maintain positive supplier and client relationships
•    Consistently offering excellent customer service to all our clients
•    Dealing with client interpretation requests and coordinating freelance interpreters
•    Dealing with client enquiries – everything from initial contact and follow ups to complaints
•    Completing your tasks within the required timescales
•    Dealing with face-to-face interpreter bookings from start to finish

Things to consider

The Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): From April 2017 the ANMW was set at £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

Training provider

Approximately 3% of training takes place in the QA learning centre classroom. 17% is done in the workplace, through workplace units, face-to-face meetings with your QA Assessor, or developing your portfolio. The remaining time will be spent on your workplace activity.
