About the employer

We run a large mixed beef and sheep holding, with approx.180 suckler cows taking their offspring through to fat, and occasionally selling as stores. We run a commercial herd but have recently added some pedigree native breeds to the set up. We also lamb about 780 North Country Mules and sell some of their lambs on for breeding, most are fattened and sold to Waitrose. The farm is in both ELS and HLS schemes.
