Wages explained
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

  • Operate day to day tasks within the warehouse
  • Ensure all items that have passed Qc are packed on time ready for picking
  • Ensure all items packed conform to packaging standards set
  • Ensure all picking is completed on time
  • Assist with loading / unloading of vehicles on a daily basis
  • Completing all administration in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Efficiencies of moving products in a careful and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all stock holding figures are correct and updated.
  • Liaise with QC Inspector / Re-assembler on inspection of items on a daily basis.
  • Provide support to colleagues in moving items.
  • Keeping the warehouse is kept area clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Other tasks, as and when they arise in the fast growing business.

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Ability to multitask is essential.
  • A keen attention to detail is required.
  • A pro- active ‘can do’ attitude is required.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly is preferred.
  • Math’s and English at GCSE grade C or above or equivalent.

  • Able to communicate well with colleagues, retailers, and end users, whilst representing the brand at all times.
  • A can do attitude.
  • Positive work ethic.

  • Fit and able to lift.
