As a Support Analyst Apprentice, you will:  

  • Develop your technical knowledge in key tooling while delivering essential support and services to end users.
  • Learn to maintain our tooling at an optimum level, resolving any system issues, whilst continually looking to improve the efficiency of the tools and services being delivered to our customers.
  • Build, manage and implement technical changes as part of the transformation journey towards new digital service delivery solutions expected by our customers today.

Qualifications required

5 GSCEs (or equivalent) grades A-C, including English and Maths.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What you’ll cover

Throughout the course, you’ll develop your understanding of the fundamentals of systems, networking and data analysis. That will include tuition on mobile, operating systems, cloud services, business, coding, networking and architecture. In addition to these technical skills, you can expect support on developing your business, communication, relationship building and creative problem solving expertise.
