    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

We are currently on the lookout for hard working, punctual and focused individuals to participate in our intensive apprentice program. You will be required to work 38 hours per week at The Italian Farmhouse. This is a customer service facing role and you will therefore be required to look presentable at all times. Your duties will include:

  • Customer service
  • Taking orders
  • Cash handling
  • Serving both alcohol and soft drinks
  • Working within a strong team

The candidate must be approachable and be well presented. They must have good customer services skills and be able to work as part of a team in a busy, faced paced environment.

Things to consider

Working in hospitality can be a faced paced, busy environment which is very customer facing. You will be expected to work up to 8 hours per day on your feet and be able to move heavy stock items, etc.
