    Wages explained

    The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
    Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
    The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Setting up and closing down a service, this will also be mirrored by supervising a team to also carry out this task
  • Placing orders and assisting in bar service for customers
  • Impart knowledge and supervise a team through service in both restaurant and functions
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout  your working area
  • Instill a high level of knowledge to your team on maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service - something that this establishment prides itself on.

Qualifications required

Ideally the successful candidate will have gained previous work experience in this industry. We would also require a qualification of Level 2 Front of House / Hospitality to have been achieved.

Future prospects

We would like to think that, on completion of the Level 3 Apprenticeship, the candidate would carry on to be a Full Time member of our Front of House team.
