This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

About the employer

The Riverside Inn incorporates traditional pub hospitality with striking contemporary designs, featuring deep leather seating, a log burning hearth, and a light, spacious restaurant. Offset by attractive landscaped decking and gardens with play area, leading down to the river, for alfresco dining. This real country pub caters for the old and young alike.

Our policy is simple; Great food, Great company, and First class service!

The atmosphere is friendly and informal, with a wonderful new menu. Set in the heart of the Mendip Hills, at the foot of Cheddar Gorge, our team of chefs have created a menu using the best local produce available, with lots of comfort appeal.
