  • Answering enquiries by phone and email in a timely manner and directing the enquiries to the correct sales person
  • Obtaining sufficient information to enable quotations to be prepared
  • Creating quotations
  • Following up on quotations to obtain orders
  • Processing sales orders. Ensuring that the sales orders are correctly entered onto the Open CRM system and the paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Liaising with the other departments to provide and obtain information as necessary
  • Remain the customer key contact for orders placed
  • Attend monthly production meetings and quarterly sales/company meetings
  • Provide feedback on any issues on orders to customers
  • With the sales team ensure that the Open CRM database is updated and create new records when required
  • Expand and update the excel costing matrices for standard products

If successful through the apprenticeship there is potentially a move into internal sales.

Things to consider

Pay review after 3 months. Must be able to travel to Shepshed on a daily basis for the working hour times defined.
