Offer assistance to management and sales team in day to day office activities. Ensuring high levels of customer service and undertaking duties as required, in order to satisfy customer demands. Initially learning to understand the current practices, procedures and policies of the company.

Duties to include but not restricted to:

  • Dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Word processing  ( including email) for internal staff and external customers
  • Maintaining current file systems and scanning
  • Data inputting and general admin related duties
  • Competent use of IT systems
  • Product training provided, supporting sales team as required

Things to consider

As part of this apprenticeship, you will be required to travel to both the employer location (Halesowen) and also attend college (Hagley Road Stourbridge). Please ensure that you have researched your travel arrangements and are happy with the time it will take and distance required to travel, before you apply for this vacancy. The role itself will primarily be office admin support however there is a requirement for all staff to offer flexibility in their roles and undertake additional duties as needed, in order to meet the demands of our customers. From April 2017 the National Minimum Wage for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
