About the employer

Pollen Street Social Pollen Street Social was Jason Atherton’s first independent restaurant, opening in April 2011. Within 6 months it achieved its first Michelin star. A contemporary British restaurant offering a deformalized fine dining experience, consisting of 3 distinct spaces – a cocktail bar, restaurant and a dessert bar - the first of its kind in London. Awarded one Michelin star; 5 AA Rosettes; ranked no.4 in the country by the Good Food Guide 2016 as well as named Best Front of House Team Social Eating House Social Eating House was Jason Atherton’s third independent London restaurant, a contemporary British bistro opening in April 2013. Within 6 months it achieved its first Michelin star. Simple, yet carefully created dishes are complimented by a relaxed and attentive service in the comfortable, humble setting, inspired by the buzz surrounding the resurgence of Soho. Awarded one Michelin star and 3 AA Rosettes Little Social Little Social opened in March 2013 across the road from Pollen Street Social and was Jason’s second independent restaurant: a bistro serving the best of British produce, with a nod towards France. “I wanted Little Social to have that way about it, being perfectly tucked away on our little street in Mayfair, as if it had been there for years.” Awarded 3 AA Rosettes Social Wine and Tapas Social Wine and & Tapas is Jason Atherton’s fourth independent London restaurant, opening in June 2015. A tapas restaurant and wine shop in Marylebone, with a dynamic wine list offering quality, rare and fine wines from around the world. Expect a menu of modern tapas-style dishes made with the best of British produce, along with a seasonally changing selection of cheeses and charcuterie Sosharu Sosharu is Jason Atherton’s fifth independent London restaurant, opening in March 2016. “Sosharu is a complete departure from anything I’ve done before, which makes it that much more exciting for us.” – Jason Atheron Striking interiors play notion to Japanese domesticity. The ground floor will be framed by an abstract timber structure, inspired by traditional minka houses, evolving the intimate experience of sitting in a Japanese home. Downstairs, guests can experience a more urban side of Japan in the basement bar Seven Tales. Hai Cenato Translating as ‘Have you had dinner?’ in Italian, Hai Cenato is the second collaboration between Jason & Irha Atherton and Chef Patron Paul Hood, who also heads up the Michelin-starred Social Eating House. James Brown, currently Senior Sous Chef at Social Eating House, will also be joining the Hai Cenato team as Head Chef. Inspired by New York-Italian cuisine, the menu will span small plates, pasta & risotto, grills and pizzas made in the restaurant’s own custom-built pizza ovens. It will also come with a standalone bar called The Drunken Oyster, which will serve twisted versions of classic Italian cocktails and sparkling ‘taptails’, so-called as they will be available on tap.
