We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join us in the coffee bar. You’ll learn about specialist coffees, help in the kitchen preparing food from scratch (and if you have a flair for cooking you’ll be able to develop this). We are a happy, hardworking team and this is a supportive environment to learn new skills.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assisting with cooking breakfasts and lunches
  • Learn about customer service, taking customer orders and clear tables
  • You must ensure a high level of hygiene at all times
  • Handling payments

Things to consider

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2017. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.

We are a specialist coffee shop in the centre of Ramsbottom, offering breakfasts and lunches, and have a small, fresh and ever-changing menu, designed and sourced by an experienced chef. We are all about quality and ethics. Our coffee beans are mostly from micro-roasters, pioneering high grade Arabica from sustainable and ethical sources, supporting both direct & Fairtrade.
