Degree Level Apprenticeship
The employer is looking to recruit Apprentice Retail Managers for 22 stores across the UK as part of the Degree Apprenticeship programme. After 3 years, the successful candidates will be a senior manager within their store.
Requirements and prospects
The employer is looking for candidates who can inspire colleagues and come up with new solutions to provide customers with a great shopping experience.
You must be professional, ambitious and willing to learn. You must be a good listener with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
112 UCAS points (Grade BBC at A-Level or Distinction Merit Merit at BTEC or equivalent qualifications). You must also have grades C or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
This is a 3-year Degree Apprenticeship in Chartered Management (Level 4, 5 & 6). It is a long-term career opportunity.
Things to consider
It is not easy to complete a Degree Apprenticeship (Level 4, 5 & 6) while working full-time. We are looking for candidates who are academically capable and career-minded, with a strong work ethic. The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

This is a 3-year Degree Apprenticeship in Chartered Management (Level 4, 5 & 6). It is a long-term career opportunity. You will attend 3-day blocks at Sheffield Hallam University, 6 times a year.
