Our Education Resourcers play a key supportive role in the day to day running of all aspects of the recruitment team’s teacher attraction strategy, which includes:

  • Sourcing candidates via our innovative No1 Education Job Board and across other digital platforms such as LinkedIn, Social Media and other Job-Boards
  • Utilise the latest search and resourcing techniques to identify high calibre teaching professionals and proactively develop our teacher / candidate pipeline.
  • Extensive liaison with professional candidates on a daily basis, building rapport and directly supporting the candidates through their job search journey.
  • Generate candidate leads, working with your colleagues and the Education Recruitment Specialists to ensure that we source the best teachers for our schools.
  • Manage the advertisement and candidate responses via email, phone calls and other media.
  • Prepare, re-format CV’s and candidate profiles.
  • Market candidates through a variety of techniques and channels to our school clients.
  • Support candidates as required from job briefs, through to pre-interview support, arranging interviews and obtaining feedback.
  • Maintaining and updating the internal bespoke candidate and client tracking systems, ensure all documentation and relevant notes are current, meeting both high quality standards and compliance measures.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding is maintained, relevant procedures followed and clearance checks are carried out.

Qualifications required

GCSE Grades A-C in English, Math’s and IT or equivalent is preferred but not essential as full training will be delivered.

Future prospects

Opportunity to progress to Recruitment Consultant if progressing well after the apprenticeship is completed.

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Training provider

Level 2 diploma incorporating an NVQ, where evidence will be gathered to build a portfolio showing your competency within the role, Functional Skills to include Maths, English and IT (depending on award and previous qualifications) where a tested part will be completed and you will complete a Technical Certificate to underpin your knowledge of working in the sector, this also comes with a tested part.
