Wages explained
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year.
Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

The candidate will need to be able to adapt to a fast paced environment, target driven, able to work effectively as part of a team, focused and ready to learn.

  • Working in a dynamic, fast paced operational environment
  • Processing a large volume of Mobile Phones and Tablets
  • Using bespoke diagnostic testing software to diagnostically test Mobile phones and Tablets
  • Manual functionality testing and reporting of Mobile Phones and Tablets
  • Visual grading and reporting of Mobile Phones and Tablets
  • Data wipe and unlock Mobile Phones and Tablets
  • Carrying out low level basic repairs and re-working of Mobile Phones and Tablets.
  • Daily warehouse operational duties i.e. Unpacking stock, Stock takes, Picking Order, Shipping Orders and Organising Stock etc.
  • Ensuring that the Operational Warehouse is clean and presentable at all times.  

Previous experience in repairing tablets and smart phones is not essential as full training will be provided.
